As the Vice President of Corporate Strategy, you will be a strategic visionary and key driver of our organization's future success. In this Leadership role, you will provide thought leadership across multiple functions, guiding the company toward sustained growth, profitability, and market leadership. This is a newly created position that will directly report to the EVP of M&A and Strategy and also interface consistently with our C-Suite & board room.

The team is ready to act immediately on those candidates who are the best fit for the role. You'll first hear from someone in Talent Acquisition to schedule a phone screen, and then the next step will be a personal interview with our Hiring Manager. Duties:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Provide thought leadership across diverse functions and business units, fostering innovation and ensuring strategic alignment with overall business objectives.
    • Collaborate with business leaders to understand specific challenges and opportunities, driving a cohesive and forward-thinking corporate strategy.
  1. Strategic Planning:
    • Develop actionable strategies to address industry trends, market dynamics, and technological advancements.
    • Formulate value-creation strategies, including targeted regional or sub-sector growth initiatives, to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  1. Partnership Development:
    • Work in partnership with business unit leadership to identify and execute strategic partnerships, enhancing market position and contributing to overarching business goals.
    • Evaluate and pursue organic and inorganic growth options, including strategic partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  1. Product Portfolio Management:
    • Develop a comprehensive framework for product portfolio management, optimizing the balance between existing assets and new opportunities.
    • Identify acquisition targets aligning with strategic goals and assess divestiture candidates to streamline the product portfolio.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate seamlessly with business unit leaders, finance, operations, and other functional teams, ensuring the integration of strategic initiatives into daily operations.
    • Foster a culture of strategic thinking and innovation throughout the organization.
  1. Communication and Reporting:
    • Effectively communicate strategic initiatives and insights to executive leadership, business units, and other stakeholders.
    • Present recommendations and progress updates to the Board of Directors, leveraging exceptional board-level presentation skills.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in strategic thought leadership, with prior experience in management consulting and/or corporate strategy roles.
  • Successfully led complex strategic initiatives, spanning across multiple divisions of a multi-national corporation and external strategic partners.
  • Ability to model and synthesize complex financial analysis and operational data.
  • Substantial experience in structuring complex deals, including joint ventures, strategic alliances, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Strong board-level presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategic concepts in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and relationship-building across functions and business units.
