Position Summary:

In this hourly position, you will be responsible for preparing meals daily according to menu; assisting Kitchen Manager in daily operations.

Shift: Schedule for this role is Monday thru Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm.

  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills, service customers in a fast and friendly manner
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial kitchen operation
  • Attention to detail

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

  • Performing preparation duties such as rinsing, peeling, slicing, and dicing fruit and vegetables
  • Weighing and measuring ingredients
  • Wrapping, date-labeling, and storing food items
  • Cleaning and organizing work areas, equipment, utensils, and service station
  • Following established recipes to prepare menu items, support menu planning and development
  • Following guidelines to ensure correct serving temperatures and adequate portion control
  • Providing customers with information regarding food ingredients, availability, and pricing
  • Escalating customer concerns and complaints to the kitchen manager
  • Assisting customers to pay for products
  • Complying with relevant safety, hygiene, and service standards and procedures
  • Assist with inventory management

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

  • ServSafe Certified
  • 1-3 years working in a restaurant/commercial kitchen
  • Knowledge of food management principles and techniques
