Senior Application Developer

May perform one or more of the following:

• Responsible for application development and maintenance support, as well as report and development process management for specific Divisions and business functions.
  
• Works on complex projects and applies an in-depth knowledge of engineering/automation concepts, practices and procedures.
  
• Works under deadlines and is capable of handling extreme workloads and acts independently, operating with minimal direction; errors at this level may cause significant disruption.
  
• Responsible for the installation, development, implementation, and customization of hardware and software system elements.
  
• Responsible for specific programs within the city (i.e. Treasury system)

Frequently interacts with supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group developers and team leads, normally involving matters between functional areas, or customers and the company. Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.

Treasury/Tax Knowledge

Software Development Life Cycle

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

Desired Experience:

Lead governmental tax projects

Large-scale application projects

Understanding of Configuration Management tools and processes

Municipal/State treasury experience

Skills Required:

SQL Server, MS Office, HTML, Java, .NET, C#

Experience with PVCS and Source Safe

Experience in a 7x24x365 Production Environment

Installation and Maintenance of 3rd Party software products

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
